In fulfilment of the
Administration’s commitment to the rule
of law in governance, the Minister of
the Federal Capital Territory, Dr.
Aliyu Modibbo Umar, has, following
the review of revocation of titles over
plots in the FCT between 2004 and 2007,
approved the following:
A. Re-instatement
of titles over plots declared revoked on
grounds of Non-Recertification through
the media in October 2006. The affected
plots/allottees are listed in Table 1,

The affected title
holders are advised to submit their
documents to AGIS for Recertification
and Revalidation.
Also, those with
developed plots in other areas of the
city and have not recertified, should
come for recertification of their
titles
B. Re-Instatement
of titles over undeveloped plots
declared revoked in areas without
infrastructure. Table 2 contains the
list of the affected plots/allottees.

C. The
retention of titles by previous
allottees whose plots were allocated to
new allottees while the Rights and
Interests of the former are still
subsisting. Table 3 contains the list of
the affected allottees.

D. The
holders of titles listed on Table 4 to
submit their land documents to AGIS
within 2 weeks of this publication for
revalidation and authentication.

E. In
addition to the generalised cases A-D
above, the titles over the following
plots are re-instated, based on on-going
review of individual complaints
received. Table 5 below contains the
list of affected plots.
