CHANGE TO BANK-DRAFT PAYMENTS
The Honourable
Minister, Federal Capital Territory Administration Dr. Aliyu Modibbo
Umar, has directed that as from January 1st, 2007
payment on all Land transactions must be in CERTIFIED BANK-DRAFT.
The
Bank-Draft, obtainable from any Bank should be made payable to Abuja
Geographic Information Systems (AGIS) and submitted to AGIS.
The
public may wish to note, that December 31st will be the
last day AGIS will accept any payment by direct deposit on Ground
Rent, Certificate of Occupancy, Title Regularization Bill, Searches
or any other Land transaction.
